Promoting the Arts:  Stars Dance for the Arts

Doors open 6:30 p.m.

THANK YOU to all our dancers for participating in our 7th Annual Stars Dance For The Arts  (SDFA)! It is a
star-studded, action-packed event hosted by Vickie Robinson and Wells Gulledge. SDFA 2019 will feature superstar couples dancing to generously raise funds for Kinston’s Community Council for the Arts. Each couple will perform an exciting and expertly choreographed dance. We appreciate the participation of these dancers and for their support!


MEET -- Natosha Graham & Scott Alston -- Dancing the Cha-Cha to Dimelo  by Marc Anthony 



                                                       Natosha Graham

                                                       Dance Training: "No, I danced many moons ago in high school, LOL."

                                                       Education and Work Experience: Natosha graduated from North Lenoir High                                                                      School and received an Associate degree in Graphic Arts and Imaging Technology                                                              from Lenoir Community College. She is a certified Pharmacy Technician, and is                                                                    certified wedding planner and owner of Exquisite Events Wedding and Event                                                                        Planning.

Background & Interests: Natosha's favorite place to travel is Wilmington and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She is an active member of Jumping Run Church in LaGrange, North Carolina. She enjoys crafting, singing and ringing.

Greatest Accomplishment To Date:  "Starting my event planning business."

What does Natosha like about Lenoir County? "It's a small community where you can get to know everyone."

What is Natosha looking forward to by participating in this event? "I've heard about it in the past and thought it would be nice to participate so when I was asked I jumped at the opportunity."



                                                          Scott Alston 

                                                          Dance Training: "1 year of Cotillion."

                                                          Education and Work Experience: Scott graduated from North Lenoir High School                                                             and University of North Carolina Chapel Hill with a BA in Recreation                                                                                           Administration. He is the boy's tennis coach for North Lenoir High School and a                                                                   Red Cross Lifegurad Instructor. He is employed by the Kinston/Lenoir County                                                                       Parks & Recreation Department as the Recreation Superintendent. 

Background & Interests: Scott's favorite travel destination is North Shore, Hawaii. He is a member of First Baptist Church and enjoys tennis, running and fishing. 

Greatest Accomplishment To Date: Scott sites his family -- wife and kids -- as his greatest accomplishment. 

What does Scott like about Lenoir County?  "Its Recreation Department! The best!"

What is Scott looking forward to by participating in this event? "Martha, Martha!"
