Congratulations to the
Grassroots Arts Program Subgrants Recipients

The following individuals are recipients of the 2016-2017 Grassroots Arts Subgrant Program sponsored by the North Carolina Arts Council. Subgrants are awarded to provide program and operating support to qualified organizations such as theaters, symphonies, galleries, art guilds, choral societies, dance companies, art festivals, etc. Funds also support arts learning and arts-in-education programs conducted by qualified artists, including artists residencies in schools, after-school camps, and adult arts learning classes. Subgrants are also made to community civic and municipal organizations which provide art experiences in their community and are conducted by qualified artists. Congratulations to the following recipients from Lenoir County:
North Lenoir High School — Paul Rigsby, Art Teacher
Artistic Fee Support for a program for students by professional artist/ educator Bob Rankin, Raleigh, NC

Professional Artist Fee Support for monthly “Coffee House” performances
