Classes listed are those offered by the Arts Center or through private instruction at the Arts Center.

    Two classes on Tuesday, April 16 & 23, 2019, 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Cost: $35 Member/$45 Non-Member. Supply Fee: $15, which includes one small canvas and paints

  3. Watercolor Painting with Ed Macomber
    10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
    Three Wednesday Classes: April 3, 10, & 17, 2019. 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Cost: $100 Member/$110 Non-Member. Artist will provide a supply list.

    Paint in the Adult Painting Studio with fellow painters on Thursdays in 2019. 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. Cost: $5 per day (punch card system)

  5. Painting with Raney -- April 2019 -- "Paris Lane"
    5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
    The Arts Center is pleased to host art party classes with Raney Rogers, owner of the Acorn Gallery in West Jefferson, North Carolina. Raney is offering low key and informative classes with set subject matter each month. No experience required. Materials will be provided. Participants are allowed to bring wine and treats to share. Cost of each class is $35. All ages & skills.. Instructor: RANEY ROGERS

  6. Spirited Palette -- Choose your Day
    6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.
    Gather five (5) or more of your friends and choose your day! Enjoy an evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., and enjoy an evening of art. Cost: $30, Member/ $35, Non-member. To schedule your class, call: 252-527-2517

  7. Macrame with Maggie Harper
    6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
    Two Classes: Thursday, April 4, and April 11, 2019, 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cost: $25. Supply cost of $15 to be paid to Maggie. Make a macramé wall hanging to take home at the completion of the class! Class size minimum 4, maximum 8.

The Arts Center welcomes Clay Whittington of Clay Whittington Studios. He will teach piano and offer voice lessons on Mondays. Clay serves as the organist and choirmaster for St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Bath and as a piano entertainer and frontman for The British Invaders Band.
